*भारत अंतरराष्ट्रीय विज्ञान महोत्सव-2020 के अंतर्गत विज्ञान यात्रा एवं जनसंपर्क गतिविधियों का आयोजन*
सीएसआईआर-आईआईटीआर और सीएसआईआर-एनबीआरआई लखनऊ द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से आचार्य प्रफुल्ल चंद्र रे विज्ञान यात्रा और जनसम्पर्क गतिविधियों का आयोजन आज सीएसआईआर-एनबीआरआई, लखनऊ में किया गया। यह कार्यक्रम वस्तुतः ऑन-लाइन प्लेटफॉर्म पर आयोजित किया गया। इस अवसर पर, डॉ सतीश सी द्विवेदी, माननीय राज्य मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार), बेसिक शिक्षा, उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार मुख्य अतिथि थे।
विज्ञान यात्रा के आयोजन सचिव और राष्ट्रीय समन्वयक श्री श्रेयांश मंडलोई ने विज्ञान यात्रा के बारे में बताया जो भारत अंतरराष्ट्रीय विज्ञान महोत्सव-2020 की प्रचार गतिविधियों के हिस्से के रूप में देश के 32 शहरों में आयोजित की जाती है और 22 दिसंबर, 2020 को नई दिल्ली में समाप्त होगी। इस यात्रा का प्रमुख उद्देश्य हमारे दर्शकों के मन के विचारों को प्रज्वलित करने और विभिन्न वैज्ञानिक ज्ञान आधारों के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करना है। यह नवीन विचारों को प्रदर्शित करने और इच्छुक विद्यार्थियों, शोध छात्रों, शिक्षकों और युवा वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा समकालीन मुद्दों को वैज्ञानिक रूप से हल करने के लिए एक मंच प्रदान करेगा।
इस अवसर पर रिमोट सेंसिंग एप्लीकेशन सेंटर, लखनऊ के कार्यवाहक निदेशक डॉ एके अग्रवाल ने जीआईएस मैपिंग और सैटेलाइट इमेजिंग सेवाओं के क्षेत्र में संस्थान की विभिन्न उपलब्धियों की जानकारी दी। इसी के साथ डॉ सीएम नौटियाल, इंसा सलाहकार, नई दिल्ली और उपाध्यक्ष, विज्ञान भारती, अवध प्रान्त ने आचार्य प्रफुल्ल चंद्र रे एवं देश के लिए उनके महत्वपूर्ण योगदान को याद करते हुए बताया कि आचार्य रे ने रसायन विज्ञान में पहला आधुनिक भारतीय अनुसंधान विद्यालय स्थापित किया एवं उन्हें भारत में रसायन विज्ञान का जनक माना जाता है। उन्होंने भविष्य में देश को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने हेतु युवा मन के बीच विज्ञान लोकप्रियकरण की आवश्यकता पर भी जोर दिया। डॉ नौटियाल ने युवा शोधकर्ताओं और नवप्रवर्तकों के लिए भारत सरकार और विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग द्वारा चलाई जा रही विभिन्न योजनाओं और कार्यक्रमों के बारे में भी बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि आईआईएसएफ जैसे कार्यक्रम विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विकास में नए क्षितिज खोजने के लिए एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंच प्रदान करेगी। कार्यक्रम के दौरान, सीएसआईआर-आईआईटीआर और सीएसआईआर-एनबीआरआई की सेवाओं एवं प्रयोगशालाओं को दर्शाने करने वाली विभिन्न लघु फिल्मों को भी प्रदर्शित किया गया।
इससे पहले अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए प्रो एसके बारिक, निदेशक, सीएसआईआर-एनबीआरआई एवं सीएसआईआर-आईआईटीआर, लखनऊ तथा अध्यक्ष, विज्ञान भारती, अवध प्रान्त, ने विज्ञान महोत्सव के साथ-साथ जैवविविधता कार्यक्रम की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि भारत अंतरराष्ट्रीय विज्ञान महोत्सव फेस्टिवल (आईआईएसएफ़2020) का छठा संस्करण 22-25 दिसंबर, 2020 के दौरान आयोजित किया जा रहा है। आईआईएसएफ़2020 की इस वर्ष की थीम ‘आत्मनिर्भर भारत एवं वैश्विक कल्याण हेतु विज्ञान’ है।
कार्यक्रम का समन्वय डॉ विवेक श्रीवास्तव, वरिष्ठ प्रधान वैज्ञानिक एवं डॉ गौरव मिश्रा, वैज्ञानिक, सीएसआईआर-एनबीआरआई, लखनऊ द्वारा किया गया।
डॉ रजनीश चतुर्वेदी, प्रमुख वैज्ञानिक, सीएसआईआर-आईआईटीआर एवं महासचिव विज्ञान भारती अवध प्रांत कार्यक्रम ने कार्यक्रम का संचालन एवं अंत में धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव प्रस्तुत किया। इस अवसर पर ऑनलाइन माध्यम से सीएसआईआर जिज्ञासा कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत केंद्रीय विद्यालय एवं अन्य विद्यालय के सैकड़ों छात्र छात्रा उपस्थित थे ।

You may be aware that an inspiring close conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn, set to take place on the 21st of December 2020 is unfolding right in front of our eyes as we speak.
We are proposing a challenge for students/teachers and anyone who may have an interest in Astronomy and who also love to tinker with their hands to undertake science related activities.
Please disseminate in your mailing list to whosoever maybe interested, to look up this document elucidating the proposed Samanta Chandrasekhar Challenge,
Please disseminate the same and let us know that you would be joining the collaboration.
Starting today itself, over the coming fortnight, this activity could be taken up.
Please alert potential participants that, all those who submit at least 3 observations of the changing angular separation between Jupiter and Saturn taken with such simple equipment, will receive a merit certificate and some selected winners of the challenge will be invited to be a part of a Meet the Astronomers program online which will be conducted by the collaboration.

1. चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता -

- Mathematical Rangoli: Let your imaginations run wild, use mathematical symbols, equations, shapes, patterns…. and whatever you can think of; and create a Rangoli.
- Mathematical Lamp Shade or chandelier: Unveil your 3D ideas to let the world know that wherever there is symmetry, there is mathematics. Make a lampshade or a chandelier

TERMS & CONDITIONS for Mathematical Rangoli
1) The Rangoli should have some mathematics in it
2) Min size of Rangoli shall be 2feet * 2feet
3) Any material like sawdust, watercolour, stone dust or flowers etc. can be used
4) Participants shall be required to post one/ two pictures of their finished Rangoli and 1-minute video depicting the making of Rangoli
TERMS & CONDITIONS for 3 Dimensional Mathematical Chandelier
1) Participants can make a lamp or chandelier or both
2) Item should be in some mathematical shape (polyhedran etc.)
3) Any material like coloured paper, cardboard, old magazines, old plastic sheets etc. can be used. (U
materials for making these shall be preferred).
4) Participants shall be required to post two pictures of their finished lamp/chandelier and other with lighting effect and 1-minute video depicting the making of the exhibit.

विज्ञान प्रसार (विपनेट) भारत सरकार से संबंधअब्दुल कलाम नेशनल काउंसिल ऑफ यंग साइंटिस्ट इंडिया (VP-RJ0064) के द्वारा दिनांक 15.10.2020 को राष्ट्रीय स्तरीय कलाम क्विज 2020 का आयोजन करने जा रहा है। इस क्विज को दो श्रेणियों में विभक्त किया गया है। प्रथम सीनियर वर्ग कक्षा 9 से 12 तक ओर द्वितीय जूनियर वर्ग कक्षा 6 से 8 तक इस प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया जाएगा । इस प्रतियोगिता में एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम साहब की जीवनी पर आधारित प्रश्नोत्तरी के माध्यम से आपको गुगल फार्म के द्वारा भाग लेना है नीचे दिए गए लिंक के माध्यम से आप इस प्रतियोगिता में अपना रजिस्ट्रेशन करवा सकते हैं। रजिस्ट्रेशन दिनांक 14.10. 2020 को दोपहर 12:00 बजे तक ओपन रहेगा । दोनों ही श्रेणियों में भाग लेने वाले प्रतिभागियों ई सर्टिफिकेट दिया जाएगा। प्रतियोगिता का लिंक आपको रजिस्ट्रेशन के उपरांत दिनांक 15.10.2020 को प्रातः 9.30 पर ईमेल के माध्यम से भेजा जाएगा।

भारत के प्रसिद्ध रॉकेट वैज्ञानिक, प्रोफ़ेसर सतीश धवन का जन्म हुआ था
(25.09.1920 - 03.01.2002)
इनका जन्म भारत के श्रीनगर में और शिक्षा संयुक्त राष्ट्र अमेरिका में संपन्न हुई। उन्हें भारतीय वैज्ञानिक समुदाय द्वारा भारत में प्रायोगिक तरल गति की अनुसंधान का जनक और विक्षोभ और परिसीमा परतों के क्षेत्र के प्रख्यात शोधकर्ताओं में से एक माना जाता है
उन्होंने 1972 में भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) के अध्यक्ष के रूप में भारतीय अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम के जनक, "विक्रम साराभाई" का स्थान ग्रहण किया।
1971 में विज्ञान एवं अभियांत्रिकी के क्षेत्र में भारत सरकार द्वारा, पद्म भूषण से सम्मानित किया गया था।
वे अंतरिक्ष आयोग के अध्यक्ष और अंतरिक्ष विभाग, भारत सरकार के सचिव भी रहे हैं। उनकी नियुक्ति के बाद के दशक में उन्होंने असाधारण विकास और शानदार उपलब्धियों के दौर से भारतीय अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम को निर्देशित किया।
जिस समय वे भारतीय अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम के अध्यक्ष थे, उस समय भी उन्होंने परिसीमा परत अनुसंधान के लिए पर्याप्त प्रयास समर्पित किया। उनके सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण योगदान हर्मन शिलिच्टिंग की मौलिक पुस्तक बाउंड्री लेटर में प्रस्तुत है।
वे बेंगलूर स्थित भारतीय विज्ञान संस्थान (आई• आई• एस• सी•) के लोकप्रिय प्रोफ़ेसर थे। उन्हें आईआईएससी में भारत के सर्वप्रथम सुपरसोनिक विंड टनल स्थापित करने का श्रेय जाता है। उन्होंने वियुक्त परिसीमा स्तर प्रवाह, तीन-आयामी परिसीमा परत और ट्राइसोनिक प्रवाहों की पुनर्परतबंदी पर अनुसंधान का भी बीड़ा उठाया।
प्रोफ़ेसर सतीश धवन ने ग्रामीण शिक्षा, सुदूर संवेदन और उपग्रह संचार पर अग्रगामी प्रयोग किए। उनके प्रयासों से इन्सैट-एक दूरसंचार उपग्रह, आईआरएस-भारतीय सुदूर संवेदन उपग्रह और ध्रुवीय उपग्रह प्रमोचन यान (पीएसएलवी) जैसी प्रचालनात्मक प्रणालियों का मार्ग प्रशस्त हुआ, जिसने भारत को अंतरिक्ष की यात्रा करने वाले राष्ट्रों के संघ में खड़ा कर दिया।
2002 में उनकी मृत्यु के बाद, दक्षिण भारत के चेन्नई की उत्तरी दिशा में लगभग 100 कि.मी. की दूरी पर श्रीहरिकोटा, आंध्रप्रदेश में स्थित :भारतीय उपग्रह प्रमोचन केंद्र" का "प्रोफ़ेसर सतीश धवन अंतरिक्ष केंद्र" के रूप में पुनर्नामकरण किया गया।

Aryabhatt Science Club Ranka organized a digital event on the World Environment Day to aware people to aware to protect the biodiversity and why it's important. Dr Ram Bhooj, Former environment specialist of UNESCO were invited as the main speaker on this topic. Dr Bhooj well explained about biodiversity which was also declared as the world environment day 2020 theme by UN Environment. Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is an initiative of Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), an institution under the Ministry of Education (previously known as Ministry of Human Resources and Development). Report: National Science Gaming Competition 2020
In this lockdown with the motive of popularizing Plasma science not only among students but also among the general public, with support of Vigyan Prasar NETwork of Science Clubs (VIPNET), and International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor- India, IPR, Department of Atomic Energy, and Govt. of India, Aryabhatt Science Club Ranka organized National Online Science Gaming Competition 2020 which will also much helpful to the utilization of time by students to learn about the mega-science project of India: generation of energy by Nuclear fusion by ITER Project.
In this Competition, anyone could be part (no age limit) and participation in this was also free of cost using a smartphone by following COVID 2019 instruction by Government. Top 50 participant will be awarded the prize, certificate and membership of science club.
In this competition 508 participants participated from 23 States and UT, they not only participated in the competition but also aware about Nuclear fusion energy generation is nothing but the energy of the future, which will provide fully clean and green energy and ITER India is that organization which responsible to contribute from India in ITER project, in which 35 nations are contributing.

Experimental skills are foundations of understanding and applying science for mankind. Steps of participation:
- Registration: Till 31 July 2020
- Screening Test: 9th August (Experiment will be shown and the question will be asked).
- Prelims: This round focuses more on performing experiments and analyzing the data by the participants. Details of the prelims round will have shared with selected candidates.
- Semi-Final: Prelims winner will get the opportunity of this and will get about its update.
- Final: Semi-Final winner will get the opportunity of this and will get about its update.

Important Guidelines:
1. Student of IX TO XII can participate in this competition. There is no registration fee.
2. This competition is conducted by ANVESHIKA _ IAPT through online and free of cost.
3. Every participant will get the certificate of participation from IAPT signed by scientist prof Dr H C Verma of IIT KANPUR. He is a writer of famous book concept of physics generally called HCV recently awarded PADMA SHRI by Govt of India.
4. Chances to visit IIT Kanpur and getting nationwide fame.
5. Cash awards at local and national level see details.
6. Being participant you will learn a lot of physics and can ask your queries till 8 August on the platform. In addition to this, you will get one innovative experiment to learn every day till 8. August 2020.

Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) is an organization committed to upgrading the quality of Physics Education in India at all levels. National Anveshika Network of India (NANI) is one of its initiative, spearheaded by Padmashree Shri H C Verma, Ex-Prof of physics, IIT Kanpur. At present, there are 26 Anveshika all over India engaged in experimental based PHYSICS teaching and learning.
NAEST 2020 is an Experimental Test, one of its kind, conducted every year by NANI. All the details are attached herewith for your kind information.
Your students of Std IX to Std XII and BSc and MSc are eligible for the test, first round of which to be conducted online at https://nani.hcverma.in. NAEST is free of any charges for all the rounds.
Please motivate all your students to register for this test at https://nani.hcverma.in and improve their experimental skills and have rich experience. For the first time, there is no limit on the no. of students who can register from a single school.
Also, for the first time, after the screening round selected students will get a certificate from IIT Kanpur if they score above a cutoff score in Screening round.
One of the major advantages of early registration is that the students can participate in month-long collaborative learning on the MOOKIT platform of IIT Kanpur. Videos of past years’ NAEST and the related questions, other interesting videos of live demonstrations and a robust peer group discussion along with expert comments from resource persons will be some of the unprecedented bonuses.
