Aryabhatt Science club wishes you all Happy Diwali.

Diwali is a massive festival of India in the aspect of culture, goodness, Vicory of good on bad and population and in this condition we really need to follow some of the important precautions while celebrating this festival.

1. Lighting lamp for the army of India asked by PM Modi Ji.
2. Be careful that Don't use sanitizer during the burning lamp.
3. Follow precautions of the COVID 2019 because we haven't vaccine till date.
4. Follow the instruction of govt regarding the Diwali 
5.  Use only green crackers, if possible don't use.

Free participation in National level Rangoli competition 2020

Gear up for a chance to exhibit Maths around us in a very novel way; through activities. 

Delhi Chapter announces its’ launch with a difference!!

Start preparing for a pan-India competition with two very interesting themes:

  • Mathematical Rangoli: Let your imaginations run wild, use mathematical symbols, equations, shapes, patterns…. and whatever you can think of; and create a Rangoli.

  • Mathematical Lamp Shade or chandelier:  Unveil your 3D ideas to let the world know that wherever there is symmetry, there is mathematics. Make a lampshade or a chandelier

  •  Please register at the link given below before 14th Nov. 2020. 
  • If you wish to participate in both the competitions, you need to register separately for both.

TERMS & CONDITIONS for Mathematical Rangoli

1) The Rangoli should have some mathematics in it

2) Min size of Rangoli shall be 2feet * 2feet

3) Any material like sawdust, watercolour,  stone dust or flowers etc. can be used

4) Participants shall be required to post one/ two pictures of their finished Rangoli and 1-minute video depicting the making of Rangoli


TERMS & CONDITIONS for 3 Dimensional Mathematical Chandelier


1) Participants can make a lamp or chandelier or both

2) Item should be in some mathematical shape (polyhedran etc.)

3) Any material like coloured paper, cardboard, old magazines, old plastic sheets etc. can be used. (U

 materials for making these shall be preferred).

4) Participants shall be required to post two pictures of their finished lamp/chandelier and other with lighting effect and 1-minute video depicting the making of the exhibit.


Eligibility

Mathematical Rangoli

  • Category 1 MRS....for 9th to 12th std.
  • Category 2 MRJ..…for 6th to  8th std.


3 Dimensional Mathematical lamp/chandelier

  • Category 3 : 3DML(SS)... for 9th to 12th

  • Category 4 : 3DML(GP)...Anyone... teacher, college students or housewives can participate in this competition

For each category

1st prize..INR 3100 + Gold medal

2nd prize...INR 2100+ silver medal

3rd prize...INR 1100+ bronze medal

1 consolation prize...

INR 500 + certificate of special achievement


Each participant will get an E-certificate
