Lin Guidelines and Terms 

1. Any Interested school & College Student from India and abroad may participate and Event has registration & no registration Fees.

2. E-Certificate of Prelim Participation will be provided to all the participants immediately on submission of Preliminary Level Assignment submission during Assignment filling Festival till 18th Sep 2021 evening.

3. Competition will be organized in three stages/rounds as follows

a) Preliminary Level:

Multifold selection & Screening process begins with the submission of Assignments and virtual science experiment experiences

b) Webinar Workshop Oriented Quizzing or Astro-Olympiad:

Multidisciplinary Space & Astronomical Scientific Conclave with ISRO NASA Scientists and Astronauts and Astro-experts. Only for Top Scorers of Preliminary Level. 

c) Final Selection:

Personal Interaction phase Only for Top Scorers of Astro-Olympiad Level.

3(a) Online Prelim Assignment Submission

Interested Students have to perform assignments with experience virtual science experiment simulators first and then have to submit prepare PDF and upload it in their google drive and move towards filling Assignment in Google Form within the stipulated period. Nomination submitted through any other medium such as post or e-mail will not be considered.

Instructions:  

A.  Participants have to check the online form to practice and prepare Assignments and to experience the virtual science experiments.

B.  The selection will be based on the weightage of 100% in multilayered practice analysis.

C.  One Student can submit only one nomination for the year.

D. In the submission form Participant has to submit Sharable link of PDF uploaded in Google Drive, that must be visible to the Jury, else Rejected.

E.  First the student has to prepare one Gmail account of which google drive they have to upload one well prepared one PDF (MB capacity has no limitation) of their Assignment & Experiments Statement.

F.  Students uploaded one PDF Assignment & Experiments Statement to Google Drive has to collect the Sharable link of PDF and have been submitting Sharable link of PDF in Drive to the online form section 1.  

G. The Part-I: PDF Assignment & Experiments Statement must have to contain all below points are according to the below serial:

a.  Participant’s name, Class for the academic year 2021-22

b.  Insert PP colour Photo in PDF

c.   Participant’s Home address with milestone and PIN, Email, What's App and Mobile contact

d.  Participant’s Institute address and email with Principal’s Name and Mobile contact

e.   Participant’s handwritten scan Statement on Anyone (Assignment 1) Constellation

(Pencil handwritten pages should be scan and inserted to PDF, About Mythology of constellation including its the figure, location, view time, detecting process, importance)

(Weightage of 10%)

f.    Participant’s activity Screenshot of 4 nos of minimum one Mission Achievement at Moon/Mars or at any planet through using only notification from (Assignment 2) Space Flight Simulator App.

(Students may Pencil Draw or prepare by using the virtual management at Space Flight Simulator App available at Google Play Store and Scan to insert in PDF and Vehicle should be based on inspiration of PSLV, GSLV etc. The link to the Space Flight Simulator App is

g.  Participant’s Drawing or virtual Design scan of one innovative (Assignment 3) Rocket Launch Vehicle

(Students may Pencil Draw or prepare by using the virtual management at notified Space Flight Simulator App or www.tinkercad.com and Scan to insert in PDF and Vehicle should be based on the inspiration of PSLV, GSLV etc. Students may use www.tinkercad.com, to understand more in detail please visit

h.  Participant’s handwritten scan Statement on (Assignment 4) Astronomical Experiments

(use HB Pencil, handwritten pages should be scan and inserted into PDF, astronomical activities - experiments given at last page)

(Weightage of 10+10=20%)

i.    Participant’s (Assignment 5) Moon Mapping

(Take a print of levelled Moon from below attachment and mark levelling using HB Pencil. details should be inserted to PDF)

j.    Participant’s Science Math Innovations

(if any, details may be inserted to PDF)

k.  Mandatory to Insert picture of proof of School and Class of participant or ID Card of the academic year 2021-22.

l.    Participants have to write quoted sentence using HB pencil on a page - “the information provided above is correct in all respect and if found anything wrong after verification, hon’ble jury and organizers have the right to reject.” and put their Signatures in full. Then they have to insert the page to the PDF by scanning.

 

H. Towards handwriting use only HB Pencils, else entries will not be entitled.

I.    Participants are suggested to prepare the PDF file according to the serial points and mention a,b,c,d etc serial with subject concern for judgement convince, else rejected at any level.

J.  The Part-I: PDF Assignment & Experiments Statement must be written in English and there is no limitation of word count.

K. The Part-I: PDF Assignment & Experiments Statement PDF will contribute 80% weightage at the preliminary level in multilayered selection process.

L.  Before moving forward to Part-II: MCQ Questions, Students have to practice and experience the only suggested Virtual science simulator experiments on Physics, Chemistry Mathematics & Biology section available at the links given below from the Govt of India Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology funded www.olabs.edu.in.

M. In the next section of the submission form, Part-II: MCQ questions (2 marks X 10 Questions in English medium only) are based on the experience of concern suggested Virtual science simulator experiments on Physics, Chemistry Mathematics & Biology section available at the links given below from the Govt of India Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology funded www.olabs.edu.in.

(Weightage of 20%)

N.  If the online sites OLAB or Space Simulators etc blocks you or themselves during the ongoing process of this event within the stipulated period, then the organizers will not be responsible.

O. Selected Participants will be invited for the next phase screening.


3(b) Webinar Workshop Oriented Quizzing or Astro-Olympiad:

     i.        80 nos of Top Scoring Students will be selected from preliminary and will be invited to participate in Webinar – Workshops to interact with the scientists served Govt of India ISRO DST etc and also NASA USA. Sessions will be streamed live for the rest students at facebook.com/groups/nctsindia & facebook.com/nctsintripura .

   ii.        All 80 Selected Participants will confer an E-Certificate of Merit.

 iii.        Based on ZOOM sessions of Meet our Scientists and Listen our Scientists Conclaves, Online Screening & understanding and cognitive development Test or Astro Olympiad in English medium will be conducted, which will bear 100% weightage again for this level.

 iv.        Participation here will be mandatory.

   v.        Date and time with concern details will be intimated through e-mail and/or WhatsApp etc.

 vi.        Tripura Chapter and Organization also request to all participants to keep a close look for concern without any fail at facebook.com/nctsintripura & facebook.com/groups/nctsindia .


3(c) Final Selection Festival:

     i.        10 nos of Top Scoring Students will be selected from the Astro-Olympiad round and invited to participate in the Final selection zoom session presided by Ganit Saint Dr. Chandramouli Joshi, Chairman of Organization & in presence of Advisors.

   ii.        Online Personal Interview session with National Jury including Quizzing Counselling on zoom platform for verification of achievements of selected students will be done before conferring concern the title.

 iii.        This final level screening also again bears 100% weightage in different hidden parameters according to the choice of our respected National Selection Committee.

 iv.        National Selection Committee may select all 10 nos student participants for the title of the year too. Even they possess the authority to eliminate also.

 

4. India International Sarabhai Student Scientist Award :

     i.        Finalized Students, maybe 10 in numbers will be honoured at the Celebration on the anniversary of Dr Vikram Sarabhai & India International Award Conferring Ceremony 2021 on 30th Dec 2021 evening tentatively virtually with the RSTF-NCTS-APJAKNCYS-India & SWAT Govt of India VIPNET Tripura Chapter’s prestigious "India International Sarabhai Student Scientist Award (IISSSA) 2021".

    ii.        The Celebration on the anniversary of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai & National Award Conferring Ceremony 2021 will be live-streamed at facebook.com/groups/nctsindia & facebook.com/nctsintripura.

 iii.        Student achievers will be conferred the title – India International Sarabhai Student Scientist Award 2021 along with NCTS RSTF Medal and Science math Kit by post, E-Award Certificate of IISSSA and anyone or two eBooks by email and in future Participation in National level Webinars or Kit/TLM making Workshops.

 iv.        Student achievers’ photographs with details will remain on display in future program brochures as this brochure bear the last year 2020 awardee’s photo and details at the outset.

   v.        Student achievers’ photographs with details will remain on display on event website too i.e. at sites.google.com/view/sarabhaissa

 

5. The selections in each and every round will be made by our respected National Level Jury Committee and the decision of this committee will be final and must be acceptable to all the participants.
