Prajna Bharat programme is the most comprehensive online career and course advisory programme supported for students.

2. मुझे एप्लिकेशन भेजने की आवश्यकता कहां है?

चयन ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण के माध्यम से किया जाएगा। कोई नहीं है

ग्रामीण छात्र को लाभ पाने के लिए, जिस स्कूल में आप पढ़ रहे हैं , वह ब्लॉक / ग्राम पंचायत क्षेत्र में स्थित होना चाहिए और स्कूल हेड मास्टर को इसके लिए प्रमाणित करना चाहिए।

4. कार्यक्रम की योजना कब बनाई गई है?

कार्यक्रम 11 से 22, मई 2020 तक आयोजित किया जाएगा। कार्यक्रम के कार्यक्रम में किसी भी बदलाव के मामले में , यह बाद में चयनित उम्मीदवारों को सूचित किया जाएगा ।

भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन ने वर्ष 2019 से स्कूली बच्चों के लिए एक विशेष कार्यक्रम शुरू किया है, जिसे " युवा वैज्ञानिक कार्यक्रम" " युविका वणिकवाणी" ( युविका ) कहा गया है। कार्यक्रम का दूसरा सत्र मई 2020 के दौरान आयोजित किया जाना है।

कार्यक्रम मुख्य रूप से अंतरिक्ष गतिविधियों के उभरते क्षेत्रों में अपनी रुचि जगाने के इरादे से युवा लोगों को अंतरिक्ष प्रौद्योगिकी, अंतरिक्ष विज्ञान और अंतरिक्ष अनुप्रयोगों पर बुनियादी ज्ञान प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से है।इस प्रकार कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य उन युवाओं के बीच जागरूकता पैदा करना है जो हमारे राष्ट्र के भविष्य के निर्माण खंड हैं। ISRO ने इस कार्यक्रम को "उन्हें युवा पकड़ो" के लिए चुना है।

कार्यक्रम गर्मियों की छुट्टियों के दौरान दो सप्ताह की अवधि का होगा (11-22 मई, 2020) और कार्यक्रम में आमंत्रित वार्ता, प्रख्यात वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा अनुभव साझा करने, सुविधा और प्रयोगशाला के दौरे, विशेषज्ञों के साथ चर्चा के लिए विशेष सत्र, व्यावहारिक और प्रतिक्रिया सत्र शामिल होंगे। ।

 1. Who are eligible for the programme?
Students who have completed 8th Standard and currently studying in 9th Standard (Academic year 2019-20, from ICSE, CBSE and State Syllabus) are eligible for the programme

2. Where I need to send the applications?
The selection will be done through online registration. There is no 
registration fee involved. The interested students can register online through ISRO website www.isro.gov.in from February 03, 2020 (1700 hrs) to 24 February 2020 (1800 hrs). The exact link will be available on 03 February, 2020 in the ISRO website. There are no other agents/agencies involved in selection process, application should be made online only and the selection is done by ISRO.

3. I am from Rural area, whether I get Rural student benefit?
To get the Rural student benefit, the school, where you are studying should be located in the Block/village Panchayat area and school Head Master should certify for it.

4. When is the programme planned ?
The programme will be held from 11 to 22, May 2020. In case of any change in the programme schedule, it will be informed later to the selected candidates.

5. When and where I need to report ?
The selected candidates will be informed to report to any one centres of ISRO/DOS located at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Shillong or Thiruvananthapuram

10. What is the selection criteria ?

ISRO guest houses/hostels. Expenditure towards the travel of student (II AC fare by train from nearest Rly Station to the reporting centre and back), course material, lodging and boarding etc., during the entire course will be borne by ISRO. II AC fare will also be provided to one guardian/parent for drop and pick up of student from the reporting centre. 

12. Whether my parent/guardian can stay with me in ISRO

Indian Space Research Organisation has launched a special programme for School Children called “Young Scientist Programme” “YUva VIgyani KAryakram” (युविका) from the year 2019. The second session of the programme is scheduled to be held during the month of May 2020.   

The Program is primarily aimed at imparting basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger ones with the intent of arousing their interest in the emerging areas of Space activities. The program is thus aimed at creating awareness amongst the youngsters who are the future building blocks of our Nation. ISRO has chalked out this programme to “Catch them young”.

The programme will be of two weeks duration during summer holidays (May 11-22,  2020) and the schedule will include invited talks, experience sharing by the eminent scientists, facility and lab visits, exclusive sessions for discussions with experts, practical and feedback sessions.

3 students each from each State/ Union Territory will be selected to participate in this programme covering CBSE, ICSE and State syllabus. 5 additional seats are reserved for OCI candidates across the country.

The selection will be done through online registration. The online registration will be open from February 03 to 24, 2020. Those who have finished 8th standard and currently studying in 9th standard (in the academic year 2019-20) will be eligible for the programme. Students who are studying in India including OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) are eligible for the programme. The selection is based on the 8th Standard academic performance and extracurricular activities. The selection criteria is given below.

Students belong to the rural area have been given special weightage in the selection criteria. In case there is tie between the selected candidates, the younger candidates will be given priority.

The interested students can register online through ISRO website www.isro.gov.in from February 03, 2020 (1700 hrs) to 24 February 2020 (1800 hrs). The exact link will be available on 03 February, 2020. The list of the provisionally selected candidates from each state will be announced on 02 March, 2020. The provisionally selected candidates will be requested to upload the attested copies of the relevant certificates on or before 23 March, 2020. After verifying the relevant certificates the final selection list will be published on 30 March, 2020.

It is proposed to conduct the residential programme during 11-22 May, 2020, at 4 centres of ISRO. The selected students will be requested to report to any one of the ISRO/DOS centres located at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Shillong and Thiruvananthapuram. The selected students will be accommodated in ISRO guest houses/hostels. Expenditure towards the travel of student (II AC fare by train from nearest Rly Station to the reporting centre and back), course material, lodging and boarding etc., during the entire course will be borne by ISRO. Evaluation Scheme for State Level Camp (SLC)
Second component of evaluation of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) after screening
First Level ONLINE Exam is State Level Camp (SLC). All the selected students of SLC
have successfully cleared first round and have demonstrated their excellence through
written examination. The team VVM congratulates all the successful candidates for
their success.
There will be a one/two days camp for the selected students in their respective state.
The date and place of State Level Camp will be communicated to the students by their
state coordinator. In the State Level Camp students will be given opportunity to
showcase their talent under the following Groups of activities.

1. Application Oriented Scholastic Aptitude Test (AOSAT) and ICAST
It is a pen and paper test (90 minutes duration). This question paper has two
parts

(i) Questions on subject (20%): questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology
and Math will be there. These questions will be based on NCERT
curriculum of the respective classes.

(ii) Indian Contribution and Advancements in Science and Technology
(ICAST) (30%): This year, this part includes questions based on Pokhran
tests and antisatellite missile and in current development in medicine
and surgery in India in last 10 years.
2. Experimental Skill Test (EST) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Math
Hands-on-activity based on contents of NCERT curriculum of the respective
class. Students will be given 20 min for each subject to perform activities in
Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Math i.e. total 80 minutes.
3. Understanding Science Concept Through Video (USCTV):
A demonstration of 2-5 minutes duration will be shown and a few, related,
questions will be asked.
Maximum marks of SLC will be 100, out of these 50 marks will be given to
AOSAT & ICAST, 40 marks to EST and 10 marks to the USCTV.
The result of state level camp and the list of selected students for national level
camp will be declared on the same day before 05:00 PM.

Dear Students / Teachers / Parents / State Coordinators,
Please note the following common instructions / points...
1. Please ensure you have provided all the required details along with your itinerary for
attending State Level Camp examination to your respective state coordinator (wherever
required) http://vvm.org.in/State.php. Request to provide any help without prior intimation
will not be accepted.
2. Keep your photo identity proof such as Aadhar Card, Passport in original and /or valid
Student School Id Card handy all the time in campus. Please do not make any argument
with security staff.
3. Stay arrangements (for students and teachers only) will be provided on sharing or dormitory
basis in Campus or outside the campus. Our volunteers will be there to assist you. Girl
students / teachers will be provided separate accommodation.
4. Please bring your personal toiletry kit for your use during your stay like toothbrush,
toothpaste, comb, soap, towel etc.
5. No Travel Allowance will be given to attend the State Level Camp. Students selected for
participation in State Level Camp (Top 20 rankers) will have to attend the State Camp with
their own travel expenses.
6. Students should bring latest colour passport size photographs at the time of registration,
and name of the student should be written at the back of photograph (students only).
7. Parents / Escort Teachers / Guests are invited for Inaugural and Valedictory function, which
will be held at your respective state venues updated on our website or as communicated to
you. However, they are not allowed at the exam venue, located nearby.
8. For engaging the Parents / Escort Teachers / Guests during the time of the State Level Camp
Talks on interesting topics will be arranged (if possible and communicated). We are sure they
will enjoy the same.
9. Don't bring any valuables as locker facilities will not be available. Any electronic
gadgets including mobile phones and calculators will not be allowed at the exam center.
10. Programme schedule of the State Camp will be provided at the time of registration.
11. Those students, who are staying outside with their guardians etc, also should report on time,
no pick-up and drop facility will be provided, please use public / appropriate transport to
reach the venue.
12. Reporting time & Reporting place for the examination will be communicated by the
respective state coordinators, delay in the reporting will lead to disqualifications.
