Innovative Teaching Learning Material (TLM)/ Model Presentation 

(For 1st -12th Standards Maths & Science Teachers) 


Guidelines :

1. There are 3 Stages in this event

Stage 1- Registration

Stage 2- Applying for this category and submission of a write-up and a small video of TLM

Stage 3- Selected 10 best TLM entries will be invited for the final round



Stage 1 Registration:-

1. There will be individual participation and participants have to register online through Google form.

(After registration join the WhatsApp group it is very important for all updates regarding feedback form and other announcements of the event)

Stage -2 (Applying for this category and submission of a write-up and a small video of TLM)

1. The TLM must be original in terms of its idea and technology.

2. The TLM should be based on the Science or Mathematics syllabus of any grade.

3. The TLM should be of low cost and easily accessible to both the target groups i.e. Teacher and Students. 

4. Presenter teacher must have to submit a signed declaration copy stating that the submitted TLM is original and that it is not technically twisted with respect to already available TLM.

5. The write-up of TLM should be written in the following format (only in English). Font size: Title-16; sub title-14; content-12, Font style: Times New Roman, line spacing: 1.5.

a) The Title page of the write-up must contain the following:

* Title of TLM

* Topic from the syllabus based on which TLM is designed.

* Presenter Teacher name with his all details such as designation,   

   School, state and postal address (with pin code) and the Contact 

   The number and email id.

* The name of the program where participating.

* Submission date in the following format dd/mm/yyyy

b)  The second page of the write-up must contain the following:

Maximum two photos of TLM in its best output form

c) The next pages of the write-up must contain the following:

i) The objective of the TLM

ii) Cost of the TLM involved 

iii) The Designing Mechanism 

iv) Cognitive Approach of the TLM in dissemination of topic

v) The effect and the impact of the TLM in cognitive development of the  

    students. 

vi) Conclusion and Recommendations 

vii) Educational Implication 

viii) Appreciation received from any authority (if teacher have)

ix) Annexure (if required) 

x)  Bio-data of the teacher (only one page mentioning the special   

      Recognitions, achievements etc.)

6. The write-up should consist of 5 to 6 pages maximum. The write-up should be converted in the PDF format and it should be 1-2 mb. 

7. You are also required to send a maximum 3-4 minute video link ONLY (Google Drive with the sharable rights / YouTube link). The video will explain the rationale, design methodology, usage and educational utility of the TLM etc. 

8. The write-up and the video must be sent to E-mail ID : istf.feb21@gmail.com latest by 5 February 2021. 

9. No write-up will be accepted once the deadline is over. 


Stage -3 (Selected 10 best TLM entries will be invited for the final round)

1. Based on all the write-up received, an expert committee will scrutinize and select the best 10 TLM entries.  

2.The selected teachers for the final round will be informed by 20 February 2021. 

3. They will be invited for a presentation of their TLM (virtual mode) which will be held from 26-28 February 2021.

4. The decision of the expert panel committee will be final in the Stage -1 and Stage – 2.


Important dates

1. Registrations open- January 10, 2021

2. Registrations close- January 20, 2021

3. Write-up / Video submission - February 5, 2021

4. Write-up / Video acceptance notification: February 10, 2021

5. Second round: 12 - 23 Feb 2021 

6. Final round: February 27, 2021

7. Award Ceremony: February 28, 2021(Special occasion of National Science Day 2021)
