Jharkhand's Alok Kumar Chaudhary honored with the highest National Youth Award of the Nation

Alok Kumar Chaudhary of Jharkhand has been honored with the country's most prestigious award, the National Youth Award, by the Government of India to reward the distinguished youth of the country. The selection of Alok for this award has given an opportunity of pride to the state of Jharkhand including district Garhwa. Since the inception of the award in Jharkhand, only 5 youths have been able to receive this award, Alok is the sixth National Youth Awardee of the state to receive this award, as well as this time only Alok has been awarded this award from the state of Jharkhand. The National Youth Award is given to a youth in the age group of 15 to 29 years who has achieved fame in any field. Alok has done such works in science education, science and innovation popularization, covid and vaccination awareness in his young age, seeing which big science communicators, scientists, researchers etc. are surprised. Some of the important campaigns started by Alok include National Quiz Competition, National Science Gaming Competition, Student Science Motivation Program, Math Skill Development Workshop, etc.
Alok was invited for felicitation with this award to National Youth Festival, Hubli- Dharwad, Karnataka. In which His Excellency the Governor of Karnataka Shri Thaawar Chand Gehlot, Minister of Youth and Sports, Government of India, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Chief Minister of Karnataka State Shri Basava Raj Bommai awarded a certificate, medal to Alok Chaudhary for his excellent work in the field of science. Honoured by giving There is a wave of happiness in all the members of Aryabhatta Science Club and the district after hearing this news.
Alok Kumar Chaudhary is working with the vision of “Vigyan dwara Vikas (Development by Science)”. Alok says that the thing country needs scientific and innovative thinking development in the student of India so that students can think innovative and develop new and innovative products and start a start-up. Start-ups can generate a lot of jobs and progress in the country. That’s why he decided to science and innovation popularization among the students by establishing a science club in 2011 that is affiliated with Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Looking to the very good work of the club, Vigyan Prasar, Department of science and technology, Govt. of India awarded four times gold category awards for different years. Later due to the effective science communication work among students and people, the Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog selected him for mentoring the students of three Atal tinkering Labs established at different schools in India by the Government of India. Here the same Alok performed well, and many digital products were developed by students under his guidance, promoted for the whole Jharkhand state Regional mentor of change. Alok says that he is worried about Jharkhand is the lowest innovation index state in the nation while Jharkhand is a major and resourceful state of India. And he wants to contribute as much as he can the improve the innovation index of the nation. In this journey, only in the last 3 years have more than 1.5 lakh people directly by his activities. Meanwhile, He has also volunteered in the different activities of the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangthan, National Service Scheme, Department of Atomic energy etc.
