Online Certificate Course on Remote Sensing & GIS Technology & Applications by ISRO

Eligibility:  Online short course on “Remote Sensing & GIS Technology and Applications” being organised for University Teachers & Government Officials from June 13 - July 01, 2020. Though this course is designed for University Teachers & Government Officials, the IIRS management has decided to extend the course for a larger audience in view of the large number of requests received. Therefore, any candidate having/pursuing at least a graduation degree can register for the course and attend as "Learners". However, the Certificate will be issued to the University Teachers (including affiliated colleges) and Government Officials (including Central or State Government Ministries/Departments or Autonomous Institutions and PSUs) only, subject to fulfilling the requirements of attendance and qualifying the online exam. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the classroom-based course could not be organised. In view of this, IIRS is organising a Short Online Certificate Course using the IIRS E-CLASS platform (https://eclass.iirs.gov.in). 

Instructions: 

1. Register to click here.
2. Learners can access the online sessions through IIRS website (https://www.iirs.gov.in) or through IIRS YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/edusat2004).
3. There will be two sessions of one hour followed by an interactive session.
4. The sessions shall be conducted from 10.00 hrs to 13.00 hrs from Monday to Saturday during the course period.
5. Online examination will be conducted online for all course participants attending the course.
