Tribute to our former president, the person who captured the imagination of every Indian Dr. A.P.J. kalam on his 88 birth anniversary. The UN declaration has marked his birth anniversary in the world which will fulfill his last wish to be remembered as a teacher to all the students on 'World Students Day'.APJ Abdul Kalam, the name itself invokes reverence and pride in the heart of every Indian. Born on 15th October 1931 in Rameswaram, the youngest son of a poor ferry owner overcame every hurdle that came in the path that he wanted to pave for himself, and went on to become one of the most loved and respected politicians of modern India. A scientist by profession, Dr Kalam was the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. He was also the father of India's military missile program. His aura, charm and never-fading smile made him a favorite among children and his motivational quotes made every Indian admire him. Dr Kalam passed away in Shillong, Meghalaya, while addressing the students of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) on 27, July, 2015.
